Supporting business start-ups

The City Business Library is committed to supporting enterprise learning and training for not for profit organisations who are interested in understanding more about enterprise, entrepreneurship, starting a business or the importance of market research for a business.

As part of this commitment, we offer free market research and/or business start-up training to a wide range of organisations including schools, colleges, universities, charities and community groups.

We can tailor our sessions to suit the needs of each group and have experience of working with a wide range of audiences so that we can ensure the session really adds value to your research. We would suggest that it would be more beneficial for the training to happen here at the City Business Library so that we can showcase the free business information available, but we are equally happy to deliver presentations or workshops in your environment.

Please contact the City Business Library team to check for availability before bringing your group into the Library as we will need some prior notice in order to accommodate your request. We can hold groups of up to 8 at one time for a hands-on IT workshop, or groups of up to 15 for a presentation, and we are also able to deliver more than one session should you have more delegates.

For more information and to book training, please contact us on 020 7332 1812 or email City Business Library.
