We are supporting the financial and professional services sector to develop the skills it needs to compete in the global economy by connecting the City’s opportunities with London’s diverse talent.

To do this we need to attract, recruit and nurture talent, and build skills.

We’re doing this through

Social Mobility Employer Index

The Index ranks participating employers on accessing and progressing talent from all backgrounds, and showcases their progress towards improving social mobility. As founding sponsors of the Index, we want to help you increase diversity in your business, track your progress and benchmark with your peers.

Fundamentals of Financial Services Qualification

This is a fantastic opportunity for sixth form students to gain the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Level 2 Fundamentals of Financial Services Qualification for free. The course aims to engage students in the sector and includes free CISI Student membership. Schools with a high proportion (>30%) of students eligible for free school meals will be prioritised.

Nurturing Talent

The Nurturing Talent project works with a small group of businesses in the financial and professional services sector to explore approaches to nurturing diverse talent. Building on recommendations in the Unleashing the Power of Diversity (4MB) report, the project will identify ways of overcoming the barriers that can prevent talented and diverse individuals from succeeding and progressing.
