    Event description:
Meet St Paul's station (Central line) outside Caffè Nero. In the quiet time between Christmas and New Year 1940 there was a lull in the Blitz on Britain, but it would be broken in dramatic scenes leaving one third of the historic City of London in flames. What was different that night from the previous months of nightly bombing raids? What were the consequences for London? What evidence can we still find, and who were the ‘heroes with grimy faces’? Led by Chris Everett, City Highlights.
