    2017 sees the 150th anniversary of the putting up of the first ‘official’ blue plaque. This talk will tell the history of the blue plaque scheme now run by English Heritage as well as those schemes that have introduced plaques into spaces to highlight hidden and alternative histories.

    Join local naturalist, Mike Hammerson, as he shows the variety of moths which have been attracted to a light trap the previous evening, before releasing them. He has been carrying out this survey in Highgate Wood since 1985, with a total of 384 different species recorded, so far.
