    Event description:
Meet: St Paul's underground station, street level, exit to cathedral (Central Line).  Discover how the Victorians 're-invented' Christmas and provided us with most of the things we associate with this festive season. We'll look for Christmas trees, the Christmas turkey, and all the Victorian trimmings, not forgetting Charles Dickens's famous Christmas characters, and taking a look at what Christmas meant for the poor.
Led by John Finn, City Highlights.
