Join our talk "From Pubs to Police Stations", hosted by police historian Rebecca Walker.

The City of London Police has policed the capital’s historic heart since 1839. Since its establishment, the force has occupied several buildings within the City of London. This talk will examine a selection of these, examining their origins, development and architecture, and tell the stories of some of the people associated with them.

Rebecca Walker is an accredited tour guide and police historian specializing in the history of policing in the City of London. She was a member of the City of London Police Museum Board which managed the Museum’s re-design and move to the Guildhall Library in 2016. She also gives talks and leads walks on City Police history for a wide variety of organisations.

This is an online event, held on Zoom. Specific details on how to attend will be emailed to attendees after they register. Click on 'book tickets' button to reserve on Eventbrite.
