The City of London Corporation supports humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Help and advice for staying safe during heatwaves and the hot weather

This free outdoor exhibition of photographs and prints from London Metropolitan Archives celebrates our green spaces and the ways that Londoners have embraced and enjoyed the great outdoors from the sixteenth century to the 1980s, including festivals, gardening and promenading; from playgrounds to allotments, bruising Sunday football to grazing flocks of sheep.

The exhibition will tour the City and London’s open spaces this summer as follows:

  • Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July at Guildhall Yard, off Gresham Street, EC2V 5AE (please note that the exhibition will be closed between Monday 25 and Friday 29 July)
  • Monday 1 August to Sunday 14 August at Aldgate Square, Aldgate High St, London EC3N 1AF
  • Monday 15 August to Wednesday 31 August at Hampstead Heath, South End Green entrance to the Heath, close to Hampstead Heath Overground station, NW3 2PY
