Join us at Shoe Lane Library in partnership with the Salters' company for a workshop celebrating women in science!

This February half-term at Shoe Lane Library we are celebrating International day of Women and Girls in science. We will explore the story of Gloria Long Anderson and her work around what fuels rockets and experiment with making our very own rockets, powered by a surprising force. We will also be making kaleidoscopes inspired by Mary Sommerville's work on light. You can make your own and take it home with you!

Suitable for children aged 3+. Booking is for a child to attend and spaces are limited.
