If you are looking for new premises or space to expand into, one of the first things you need to determine is how much space you need in sq/ft or sq/m. This will depend on a number of factors, such as how many desks you want, the size of your reception area, the number of meeting rooms, and the amount of storage space you need.

The space calculator above will help you determine how much space you need in sq/ft for your office, taking into account aspects like the number of cellular offices, meeting rooms and kitchens you need.

To calculate your space requirement:

Click on each type of space in turn under 'step 1', and put your required quantity in the white boxes at 'step 2'. For example, click on 'open plan workstations', and put in the number of small, medium or large work stations you need into the boxes. The total area needed in sq/ft will appear in the box on the right under 'step 3'. When you have been through each line in box 1, the total amount of space needed will appear in the box in the bottom right-hand corner.

Once you have determined how much space you need, complete our contact form and we will get in touch to discuss your requirements in more detail. We can carry out a free search of available property for you, complete with details of rent, rates and service charges, as well as the contact details of agents dealing with each property.

CPAT has also produced a guidance pack (2.5MB)  for businesses, which gives practical information on how to find premises in the City and City Fringe, and takes you through the key steps in the move process.
