Barbican Estate Updates

Barbican Estate

Barbican Estate

To improve performance for the benefit of residents, the Barbican Estate Office has established clear timescales and targets to promote accountability with service providers.

Barbican Cold Water Storage Tanks Project

The City of London Corporation will be carrying out works to the cold-water storage tanks across the Barbican Estate. The works are to replace or repair existing water storage and ancillary equipment associated with the supply of hot and cold-water services. Not all residents will be affected by the works. A letter will go out to only those residents affected, outlining exact details of isolation times / cut off periods.

Download the schedule of works (123KB) for the whole estate. This programme is subject to change due to external forces.

Should you have any queries or concerns about any of the above projects. please contact the allocated Project Manager, Neil Clutterbuck on 0207 332 3427 or email Neil Clutterbuck

Barbican Lifts Electrical Test Schedule

Guideline Lift Services are due to carry out the 5-yearly electrical tests to the lifts across the estate. The lifts will be off for approximately 2 hours each, and work will start from 9.30am each day. Only one lift will be worked on at any time and it will be put back into service before the next lift is started.

Please download the test schedules (171 KB) for the whole estate.
