Registering a birth or death

In order to register a birth or death you need to book an appointment with the Islington Registrar. Appointments can be made online:

Marriages and civil partnerships

Marriages and civil partnerships are also provided by Islington, as well as notices of marriage and civil partnership for couples living in the City of London.
