Qi Gong *

    Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient form of gentle exercise, designed to improve health through calming the mind, relaxing the body and stimulating the body's own natural energy (Qi). Over the year, the course covers a variety of Qi Gong sequences, including The Eight Pieces of Brocade, Taiji Ruler, walking Qi Gong and standing postures. The course also includes relaxation methods and breathing exercises. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced students.

Turn off those television dance shows and learn for yourself the poise, steps and art of Ballroom Dancing. The emphasis is on developing a strong style and technique, whilst dipping in to the Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Rhythm/Social Foxtrot.

Yoga *

Yoga and mindfulness have been proven to enhance physical health and mental wellbeing. This course teaches Yoga postures to develop strength, flexibility, balance and stamina and mindfulness practices to settle the mind into open-hearted awareness in the present moment. Resources are provided to develop personal practise at home.

Come and learn about posture-work, breathing practices, meditation and skills to develop a continuity of focus and intention. Discover deeper levels of well-being through this ancient and holistic path.

Gentle aerobics *

    Gentle aerobics

This course is for students who want to improve their fitness further by doing gentle aerobic exercise. The class is conducted to music and includes exercises that encourage stamina, balance, coordination, flexibility and core stability. At the end of the course students should be fit enough to attend more demanding exercise classes.
