    Full plans under the Building Regulations 2010 - on most projects  details of the proposed building works need to be submitted for approval before the works are carried out.     Building notices under the Building Regulations 2010 - Where any works to a residential dwelling (a house or a flat, but not the common parts of blocks) are undertaken, approval may be sought.
