Enforcement register

Local planning authorities have a duty to maintain a register which records details of all Enforcement Notices, Stop Notices, Breach of Condition Notices and Planning Enforcement Orders. (Section 188 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and article 43 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015).

The City of London Corporation’s register contains details of these Notices along with details of Discontinuance Notices and Planning Contravention Notices served by the City.

The register is currently held in paper form and is available for viewing at the Guildhall north wing ground floor, (entrance Basinghall Street and Aldermanbury), between 9.30am–4.30pm Monday to Friday.
