About the Mansion House

The Mansion House is at Bank Junction. It is both the office and home of the Lord Mayor of the City of London.

This unique building was erected between 1739 and 1752 in the then fashionable Palladian style by the City of London Surveyor and architect George Dance the Elder and provides a spectacular setting for conferences, business meetings, civic and livery activities.
