Feed back on recent rough sleeping poster awareness campaign

The City of London Corporation has a longstanding commitment in addressing rough sleeping and homelessness in the City and to support those it affects throughout the year.

Campaign posters (you'll find all campaign materials below) have been displayed during the winter months in high footfall areas across the Square Mile to highlight how people:

  • make a referral to StreetLink, the pan-London reporting mechanism
  • donate to support services.

Tell us what you thought of the poster campaign: complete our survey by 5 April.

Cold weather update

If you see someone rough sleeping, always contact StreetLink (details below), the pan-London reporting mechanism. The City of London Corporation outreach team responds to all new information with immediate effect.

The City of London Corporation works year-round on getting rough sleepers into accommodation. During cold weather, we operate a proactive shift model. Our commissioned outreach service is on the streets looking out for rough sleepers every day, all weeks to offer emergency accommodation.

If you see someone sleeping rough and you think they are suffering the effects of exposure to cold weather, please contact emergency services on 999.

Looking out for rough sleepers in the City of London

The number of people sleeping rough on our streets is increasing. During the winter months especially, rough sleepers will face additional health risks.

We're running a public-facing awareness campaign from November until January. If you're concerned about someone sleeping rough in the Square Mile, make a referral to StreetLink.
