About the estate

The land on which Holloway Estate stands has been owned by the City of London Corporation since 1832.

Spanning both sides of Parkhurst Road, the estate comprises of 180 flats, maisonettes and houses which was built between the mid-1960s to 1975. The names of all the blocks are all named after notable architects.

Walkabouts and drop-ins are your opportunity to speak to your estate team to ask any questions or offer any suggestions to improve life on your estate. All residents are welcome.

For the walkabouts, residents can join estate staff on a walk around the estate where any areas of concern can be pointed out and discussed. Drop-ins will take place inside the Community Centre and also offer residents a chance to sit down with estate staff.

The Estate Walkabouts will take place on:

  • Wednesday 5 June 1-2pm 
  • Wednesday 2 October 1-2pm

Please meet at the estate office.

The Estate Drop-ins will take place in the Holloway Community Centre on:

  • Wednesday 24 April 5-7pm
  • Wednesday 4 September 5-7pm

  • 24 hours, seven days a week
  • All faults can be reported Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Outside of these hours, only emergencies can be reported

What is an emergency repair?

An emergency property repair is any fault which threatens harm to persons or property.

To report non-emergency repairs, please email property services.

The estate has a community centre with spaces available for residents to use, contact the estate team to book.

Your estate team are committed to maintaining cleaning and grounds maintenance standards on your estate. For more on the standards, please visit the Estate Services page.

Each quarter a report is produced for each estate based on data gathered from estate inspections. All areas of the estate relating to Cleaning and Grounds maintenance are inspected and the findings are measured against the Estate Services standards, a quality assurance document designed to help staff and residents understand the expectation that our housing estates should be upheld to.
