Bevis Marks experimental cycle lanes

Date updated: 14/07/2022

The City of London Corporation is introducing experimental cycle lanes in Camomile Street, Bevis Marks, Dukes Place and St Botolph Street. In addition to this associated loading changes are also being made. The changes will improve safety for people cycling on the Bevis Marks corridor and encourage new people to cycle on this route.

As part of the experiment the City Corporation will monitor the safety along the corridor, monitor the number of cycling trips and network resilience to assess whether traffic and bus operations are unreasonably impacted.

The documents relating to this are at the end of the page. Please send any comments either by post to the address in the Notice or by email to the City Transportation Team quoting reference TraffOrder/ED/CTAC01/TMO. Regulations require the City Corporation to state that objections must be received within a period of six months starting from 22 April 2022.
