Monument Street area

​The City of London has developed landscapes proposals for Monument Yard, Fish Street Hill, Pudding Lane and the junction of Monument and Lower Thames streets.

The scheme will deliver public realm enhancements around The Monument, providing a new timber seats and granite stone benches, semi-matured trees and improved lighting.

Work will start on Monday 13 March and is due to be completed in phases throughout to late December 2017. The work phases (265KB) may be subject to change and we will update this page if the dates are altered.

We will be publishing regular ebulletin during the works, providing updates on progress and giving advanced notice of road closures and other temporary arrangements.
