Transport for London’s Quietways cycle routes are intended to provide alternative routes for cyclists that avoid the heavily used main thoroughfares, especially those that do not have any dedicated cycle lanes.

The Q11 Cycleway runs along a north-south route via Moor Lane, Fore Street, Wood Street, King Street and Queen Street. The City Corporation is proposing to introduce or extend existing loading restrictions along the route to improve the safety for cyclists and to reduce congestion caused by delivery vehicles.

In order to provide a delivery facility for King Street during the working day to offset the extension of the loading restrictions, the City Corporation is proposing to introduce a loading bay in Trump Street.
