Building bridges with the Burnham Beeches volunteers

Throughout the year, volunteers help the Rangers look after Burnham Beeches and Stoke Common and play an important role in the management of the reserves. There are a huge range of different activities to get involved with from scrub clearance to fencing, helping with livestock or getting involved with survey work. New volunteers are always welcome at any of our regular practical tasks. To find out when our next practical tasks are, take a look at our event diary on our events page. You can also help as an 'Eyes and Ears' volunteer on your walk around the reserve, with office tasks or as an Information Volunteer at events.

If you would like to join us as a volunteer in any capacity please email or contact the Burnham Beeches Office on 01753 647 358 for further information.

Friends of Stoke Common (FOSC)

The Friends of Stoke Common is an independent community group that encourages and enables people to become involved in the management of Stoke Common. They aim to raise awareness of the importance of the lowland heath habitat at Stoke Common, to care for and protect the Common's biodiversity and to continue to make it a haven for wildlife and a special place for people to visit.

To volunteer visit the Friends of Stoke Common website or email friendsofstokecommon@gmail.com. Alternatively please contact the Burnham Beeches Office on 01753 647 358 or email us.
