How to get here

The City of London Cemetery and Crematorium adjoins Wanstead Flats which is part of Epping Forest.

For people travelling by rail, the main entrance in Aldersbrook road is approximately ten minutes walk from Manor Park station (on the Liverpool Street Line). The main entrance and exit for Manor Park station is currently closed for refurbishment, and a temporary entrance and exit has been created in Whitta road, opposite Gladding Road. In order to reach us you should turn right outside the temporary exit and walk straight ahead until you reach the junction with Forest Drive. Turn left onto Forest Drive and continue to walk for approximately half a mile, the entrance to the City of Cemetery and Crematorium is directly ahead of you after the mini roundabout at Aldersbrook Road.

Tube and Bus

The nearest tube stations are East Ham (District Line) and Wanstead (Central Line). Tube travellers may wish to use the connecting 101 bus service that stops within a few yards of the main gates.

Important note

Although we are located at Manor Park, please do not confuse us with the nearby Manor Park Cemetery and Crematorium, which is behind Manor Park railway station. If asking for directions, ask for the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium on Aldersbrook Road, E12.

If you notice any faults - such as damaged signs or fences, fires, excessive litter or obstructions on footpaths you can report them and track progress online.
