Guided walks in the Square Mile's gardens

Discover beautiful tranquil spaces in between the steel and concrete of the City.

Join a qualified and experienced City of London Guide who will make the gardens come alive with their wealth of knowledge.

All walks are £8 per person and are available between 1 April and 31 October.

No booking required and pay on the day (cash only).

Children under 15 are free.

The City's Secret Gardens - Saturdays at 1.30pm

A guided walk taking in historic gardens and churchyards nestled amongst old and new City buildings; horticulture and history combined.

The walk starts outside the City Information Centre opposite St Paul's Cathedral.

A Garden Foray East - Sundays at 1.30pm

Heading east from St Paul's Cathedral visiting little known gardens and the riverside. There's plenty of interest to complement the historic and modern architecture.

Bunhill Fields Burial Ground - Wednesdays at 12.30pm

A guided tour of the historic and atmospheric burial ground including 'behind the railings'.

The walk starts at the Attendant's Hut in the centre of the burial ground​.

Nearest tube station: Old Street, exit 5.

Gardens of The Inns of Court - 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 11am

A walk through London's historic legal quarter, exploring the glorious gardens and distinguished buildings.

The walk starts at Chancery Lane tube station, exit 3​​​.​
