Guided walks in the Square Mile's gardens

Discover beautiful tranquil spaces in between the steel and concrete of the City.

Join a qualified and experienced City of London Guide who will make the gardens come alive with their wealth of knowledge.

All walks are £8 per person and can be enjoyed up until the end of October.

No booking required and pay on the day (cash only).

Children under 15 are free.

City Gardens - Saturdays and public holidays at 1.30pm

A guided tour of some of the historic gardens and churchyards - spring buds, summer flowers and autumn colour plus fascinating history.

The walk starts outside the City Information Centre opposite St Paul's Cathedral.

Cathedral to Tower - Sundays at 1.30pm

A walking tour eastwards towards the Tower of London, visiting little-known gardens including the riverside.

The walk starts outside the City Information Centre opposite St Paul's Cathedral.

Bunhill Fields Burial Ground - Wednesdays at 12.30pm

A guided tour of the historic and atmospheric burial ground including 'behind the railings'.

The walk starts at the Attendant's Hut in the centre of the burial ground​.

Nearest tube station: Old Street, exit 5.

Gardens of The Inns of Court - 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 11am

A walk through London's historic legal quarter, exploring the glorious gardens and distinguished buildings.

The walk starts at Chancery Lane tube station, exit 3​​​.​

The Barbican - 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at 11am

A walk through ancient history and 20th century architecture and horticulture.

The walk starts at Moorgate tube station, west exit.
