What to see

The visitor centre tells the story of Epping Forest through fun, interactive exhibitions on wildlife, the history of the Forest, and its role in the community.

Our exhibition space hosts a range of art collections and historical interpretation all year round, which take the Forest as their main theme.

If you'd like to hold an exhibition, email the Epping Forest Art Exhibition for more information!

Finally, don’t miss out on the spectacular view over Epping Forest from our famous balcony.

On the first floor, look out for our temporary exhibition room which showcases a changing selection of exhibitions of:

  • Art
  • Photographic art
  • Heritage
  • History

We are interested in working with local people on exhibitions which take the Forest as their main theme, so please email the Epping Forest Team if you have something we might like to exhibit.
