Filming and photography on Hampstead Heath

Filming on Hampstead Heath

In light of the current situation and government advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will not be taking any more filming or photoshoot requests on Hampstead Heath, including the Hill Garden and Pergola.

On location at Hampstead Heath

Hampstead Heath offers many opportunities for filming and photography, with spectacular views and surprisingly rural landscapes so close to the centre of London.

We welcome requests for filming and photoshoots, though please note that our management of the Heath aims to retain and enhance its habitats and natural resources. This to enable continued quiet enjoyment by visitors.

As such, requests for permission to film will only be considered where it can be demonstrated that there will be no long-term damage to the landscape fabric of the Heath and where disruption to local communities is minimised.

Filming requires prior permission

Hampstead Heath is a beautiful setting for film and photographic shoots, but please be aware that these do require permits. We welcome applications for engagement, wedding and civil partnership photography, portraits, commercial and student shoots. Fees are available on enquiry.
