Heath Hands in Highgate Wood

Heath Hands volunteers regularly help with managing conservation projects in Highgate Wood. Sessions run from September to March and last for 2.5 hours with a tea break in the middle.

Work includes coppicing young trees, cutting back brambles and making dead hedges and habitat piles. If you would like to get involved contact Heath Hands on 0208 458 9102 or see the Heath Hands website for more information.

Volunteering sessions

Every Tuesday from September to March, from 2 to 4pm, we run volunteering tasks in Highgate Wood. Tasks include bramble and holly control, some coppicing of small trees, and the creation of dead hedges among other things.

Please email us if you'd like to join in.
