Cricket practice in Highgate Wood

In line with current advice from the government on Coronavirus (COVID-19) social distancing, our cafés, toilets and playgrounds will be closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We also ask you to be considerate of each other, help reduce the spread of the virus and take pressure off the NHS by making sure you stay two meters from each other.

Cricket nets

A great venue for practicing your bowling or batting, our cricket nets are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis whenever the Wood is open. Under 18s are required to wear helmets and sufficient padding if hard cricket balls are used.

Children's playground

Situated close to the Archway Gate, our playground is open to under 15s from 7.30am until 45 minutes before Highgate Wood closes. The Wood closes at sunset which can be as early as 4.30pm in winter and as late as 9.15pm in summer depending on the time of year.
