How we manage West Wickham Common
West Wickham Common is managed by the City of London as part of two urban commons across South London and Kent known collectively as the West Wickham Commons. This includes:
- Spring Park
- West Wickham Common
Managing the West Wickham Commons
Keeping the West Wickham Commons looking wonderful all year round takes a lot of hard work. We have been working closely with our communities, visitors and partners to develop ten-year management plans to help protect and preserve these special sites for future generations and biodiversity. These plans outline why and how we intend to do this, highlighting our main projects and guiding the practical work programme for the Rangers each year.
We are in the process of updating our management plans to set out a 10-year vision for Spring Park and West Wickham Common and the broad objectives which will guide their management. If you require a copy of the 2010-2020 management plans, please contact us.
