Format: Ambrotype photograph in a folding case, 6 x 7 cms
Notes: An ambrotype portrait, in an arched frame within a folding case, of Fanny Brawne (1800-1865; Fanny Brawne-Lindon, Mrs. Louis Lindon) aged fifty, seated, looking left, her right arm resting on a covered desk or table, with her chin resting on her right hand. The cloth inside the case, facing the photograph, is decorated in the centre with leaves and three pendant flowers.
