Things to do

Keats House is a family friendly museum, with new activities and interactives just for kids. Younger children will enjoy dressing up and drawing pictures while their older brothers and sisters create a magnetic poem to share.

Family events

The third Sunday of every month is Family Day at Keats House. We offer craft, music and poetry activities for all ages. Activities are completely free for families and you don't need an admission ticket to join in.

We also run other family-friendly events through the year. Check our What's on pages for full details.

Our garden

Keats House is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where families are welcome to picnic or play during their visit.

Toilets are located at the back of the building and include baby changing facilities.

Because the rooms are so small, prams and pushchairs cannot be brought inside, but can be left in the covered veranda area.

Eating and drinking

Keats House does not have a cafe, but there are plenty of family-friendly cafes and restaurants in the local area. Food and drink are not allowed inside the house, but the garden makes a lovely setting for a picnic when the weather is fine.
