The Guildhall School presents over 300 public events each year, including orchestral concerts, recitals, opera, jazz, plays and musicals. Many events are free to attend, or have reasonably-priced tickets available from the Barbican Box Office. Most of them take place in the School's performance facilities, which include three new world-class venues opening at Milton Court in September 2013, and others are held in concert halls and theatres across London.

As well as over 800 students in higher education, drawn from nearly 60 countries around the world, the School is also the UK's leading provider of specialist music training at the under-18 level with nearly 2,500 students in Junior Guildhall and the Centre for Young Musicians.
