Autumn highlights

The sun may be fading, but the City of London is very much hot with
events this Autumn season. From major spectacles to quirky exhibitions, there is much on offer in the Square Mile.

Women: Work & Power

The six-month long season of events celebrating women continues. Enjoy a cinema season celebrating women in front of, and behind
the camera with Heroines of Cinema, an exhibition exploring the stories
and achievements of the unsung women who supported the NHS in
a time of great national need, and more. Visit the Women: Work & Power page to find out more.

Sublime Symmetry

Discover an exhibition of works from one of the most gifted craftsmen of his time. Marrying art and mathematics, William De Morgan’s warork ceramic art is captivating not just for its intrinsic beauty, but for the intelligence of its design. The exhibition is free, check webpage for upcoming talks.

Exhibition from 11 May.

Open House

Open House returns this September and provides a rare opportunity to explore inside City buildings normally closed to the public. As part of the two days, visitors to Leadenhall Market can enjoy a new audio composition which tells the stories of historic women in their
own words accompanied by a live choir and musicians. City of Women comes from acclaimed composer Iain Chambers.

22 - 23 September.

Sculpture in the City

Discover the work of internationally-renowned artists as the popular public art exhibition returns to the Square Mile’s insurance district.
