This spectacular outdoor show by Italian company Teatro dei Venti brings Captain Ahab’s ship and his obsessive search for revenge to the City. With ingenious staging, theatre, dance, circus and music, this timely reinvention of Melville’s classic novel explores themes of migration and the fear of the unknown.

About Teatro dei Venti

Teatro dei Venti started in 2005 in Modena, Italy, producing shows and projects with a socio-cultural and educational focus. “Moby Dick” is the latest project in the company’s timeline, summing up the work developed by the company from the onset: the utopia of theatre in urban settings and in contact with communities.

Moby Dick is a production by Teatro dei Venti, in co-production with Klaipėda Sea Festival (Lithuania), produced with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Modena, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena, with the contribution of the Municipality of Dolo (VE) in partnership with the Associazione Echidna.
