Join Générik Vapeur and Gorilla Circus on a night-time walk across a plastic-filled artificial island formed by the currents of the North Pacific ocean. Is this man-made 8th continent the end of life as we know it? Have humans sacrificed the natural world in the pursuit of technology?

This adrenaline-fuelled performance featuring daring aerial acrobatics and high-wire stunts will transform the City’s streets into a spectacle. Get a taste of what to expect in the video below.

Be part of an outdoor arts project raising awareness about sustainability.

What are the roles?

Performers: Join Générik Vapeur and Gorilla Circus for evening rehearsals on 5 - 6 September, and perform with them on 7 September. Performers must be physically fit. No previous experience required.

  • Thursday 5 September: 6pm - 11pm
  • Friday 6 September: 6pm - 11pm
  • Saturday 7 September: 6pm - 11pm

Event Stewards: Support the event delivery team on the evenings of 6 - 7 September. The role will include guiding the audience, answering audience questions and helping to maintain audience safety. No previous experience required.

  • Friday 6 September: 8pm - 11pm
  • Saturday 7 September: 7pm - 10pm
