Join us for a day of creativity, sustainability, and hands-on repair at Artizan Street Library and Community Centre as part of London Repair Week 2026!

The City Corporation’s recycling team is hosting a series of free workshops, helping you breathe new life into old and broken items. Whether you're looking to fix your faulty electronics or mend your old and worn clothes, this event is all about reducing waste by keeping items in use for longer and giving you the confidence to attempt repairs yourself. Don't miss this chance to learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and make a positive impact - all while having fun!

Clothing repairs | 10am – 3pm

We are joining forces with Alina Koztepe from Divine Couture London to host two clothing repair and upcycling workshops.

Learn how to do simple repairs on your clothing and other fabrics, turning rips, holes and stains into beautiful artistic features you can be proud of. Colourful patches and creative embroidery with give your old clothes new life.

Turn scraps of material you may have otherwise thrown out into wall hangings, sofa arm covers, keyrings, necklaces or bracelets. Turn your would-be trash into beautiful handmade treasure.

Electrical item repair | 11am – 3pm

We have collaborated with Fixing Factories to bring you a session of FREE electrical item repairs. Skilled fixers will help you repair your broken electronic items, promoting sustainability and reducing electronic waste. You can book a 40 minute repair slot for your broken item.
