City's Contaminated Land Strategy
Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Contaminated Land (England) Regulations 2000 provide the legislative framework for the management of contaminated land.
In order to fulfil the City Corporation's obligations under the legislation, the City Corporation published a Contaminated Land Strategy in 2001 and a Review of the Contaminated Land Strategy in 2004, 2015 and 2021. The revised Contaminated Land Inspection Strategy 2021-2030 is below.
