Isleden House
About the estate
Isleden House is made up of general needs housing and sheltered accommodation and is located between Islington and Dalston. The estate was built in 1948 by the Trustees of the London Parochial Charities. In 1953, the Trustees conveyed the property to the City of London. The local authority for Isleden House is the London Borough of Islington.
The estate is centred around a quiet, private courtyard and gardens. It comprises 80 flats, 33 of which are sheltered accommodation for people at the current state retirement age.
Sheltered residents can use the communal lounge to relax and refreshment-making facilities are available.

| Entrance information |
External paths and road surfaces are smooth tarmac/concrete and easy to navigate. Estate office has a permanent ramp to access the building, with handrails on both sides of the ramp. There is level access throughout the estate office. There is is button intercom system for entry. The estate office is clearly signed, but does not have braille/tactile lettering. |

Doorways from main door to the estate office are 80cm wide. Doors to be put on the magnetic closer as part of fire safety works. |
| Toilets | No publicly available toilet in the estate office. Toilet is accessible for visitors |
| Community room |
Community room is accessed via the estate office (ramp access). There are upright dining room style chairs, primarily with arms. There are also soft armchair style chairs. No publicly available toilet. |

Outside of office opening times the sheltered flats are linked to a pull-cord alarm system which is monitored by Camden Responders.

- Outside of these hours, only emergencies can be reported
What is an emergency repair?
An emergency property repair is any fault which threatens harm to persons or property.
To report non-emergency repairs, please email property services.
Staff hold events and social activities such as bingo and coffee mornings for sheltered residents. There are a range of leisure amenities nearby and good transport links.
The estate has a communal lounge with spaces available for residents to use, contact the estate team for more information.
