Enforcement register

Local planning authorities have a duty to maintain a register recording Enforcement Notices, Stop Notices, Breach of Condition Notices and Planning Enforcement Orders. (Section 188 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and article 43 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015).

The City of London Corporation’s register contains details of these Notices and details of Discontinuance Notices and Planning Contravention Notices.

The register is held in paper form and is available to view at the Planning Enquiry Desk  between 9.30am–4.30pm Monday to Friday.
