Toilet facilities in the City of London

Attended toilets are open during the following periods

Tower Hill Monday-Friday 9am-7pm and weekend 9am-5pm

Paternoster Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and weekend 9am-5pm

Note: 50p charge except RADAR key holders. Change machines are available.

Locations​​

  • Paternoster - in the Paternoster Square development near to St Paul's Chapter House.
  • Tower Hill - in the Tower Place development opposite the Tower of London.​

These toilets are available using the National Key Operated Scheme (RADAR key) or money.

There is a Changing Places facility in the Camera Café at the Barbican Centre's Cinema 2, and 3 on Beech Street EC2Y 8AE. It is open when the café is open.

  • Monday - Friday: 8am-10.30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10am-10.30pm
  • Bank Holidays: 10am-10.30pm

The facility includes a height adjustable bench, tracking hoist system, a centrally placed toilet, a height adjustable basin and a shower, and is for people who cannot use standard accessible toilets such as those with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as many other disabled people who need personal assistance to use the toilet.

Some Community Toilet Scheme members also offer baby change facilities. Use the blue icons on the interactive toilet map for these.

There are now 49 members signed up to the City's Community Toilet Scheme. These businesses provide the public with free access to their toilets during their normal trading hours. You will see a sign in the window giving details of their facilities.
