Improving the streets and public spaces in the Fenchurch Street area

The City of London Corporation are producing a Healthy Streets Plan to provide a framework for improvements to the streets and spaces in the area between Fenchurch Street and Lower Thames Street.

Delivering the Healthy Streets Plan will make streets more accessible, engaging and safer places for people to walk, wheel, cycle and spend time. Redesigning streets will give more space and priority to people walking, wheeling and cycling.

A consultation to develop the Healthy Street Plan took place in October 2025 and is now closed. We are analysing responses and intend to seek approval on the final plan at the end of 2025. There will be further consultations in the future as individual projects are developed.
