St Botolph-without-Aldersgate is a Church of England Guild Church. Being a Guild Church means that they don’t have their own parish or Sunday services; instead their ministry serves the midweek working population in the City of London. Their main Tuesday talks and associated ministry are called Aldersgate Talks.

Aldersgate Talks helped start Moorgate Talks in 2010 and also have a partnership with Grace City Church in Tokyo, which has similar lunchtime talks to reach Japanese city workers.
