This Neoclassical Art Deco style, Grade II listed building appears tiered, like a giant stone cake. The heavily rusticated ground floor projects strikingly, while above a colonnade of 16 unfluted Ionic columns are bookended by sculptures of giant figures restraining horses by Sir William Reid Dick.

KPF were hired to renovate the building, restoring the exterior of the historic Grade II listed structure while completely reconfiguring and modernizing the interior. A landmark for sustainability, the design was awarded a BREEAM Excellent score for its energy efficiency and conservation and reuse of materials.
