Getting to Burnham Beeches and Stoke Common
For Burnham Beeches, the nearest station is Burnham which is at least 50 minutes walk and has no direct bus service to the Beeches. A walk from Slough railway station would take about an hour and a half, buses from here stop in nearby Farnham Common.
Slough and Gerrards Cross railway stations are both about one hour's walk from Stoke Common, but buses stopping at the edge of the common are available.
There is no postcode for the main common and visitor facilities at Burnham Beeches but the closest is SL2 3PS - this will get you to the site entrance.

If travelling by train, the x74 is a direct bus service from Slough railway station to High Wycombe. If travelling to Burnham you can take a connecting train to Slough and take the bus from there.
The bus stop is in Farnham Common, just after Forge Drive and before Kingsway. Walk north past the shops and turn left into Beeches Road; you will see the entrance to the site when you get here. It is approximately a 10 minute walk.
From the M4 (junction 6) follow the A355 north or from the M40 (junction 2) follow the A355 south until you reach Farnham Common. In Farnham Common, turn down Beeches Road. Drive to the end of this road and at the junction go straight ahead into Lord Mayors Drive. Parking is available in several large bays on your left.

Access to Stoke Common by public transport is via bus number 104 from Slough bus station to High Wycombe, stopping at Vine Road for access to Stoke Common or the 335 Redline bus stopping at Windmill Road. If travelling by train the nearest stations on London Lines are at Gerrards Cross and Slough.
Only limited parking is available in the lay-by on Stoke Common Road. Stoke Common can be accessed by car – from the M40 follow the A355 towards Slough and turn onto B416 Gerrards Cross/Windsor Road and turn left into Stoke Common Road.
From the M4, leave the motorway at junction 6 and follow the A355 towards Farnham Common. Turn right into Templewood Lane after passing the shops on Beeches Road and follow the road into Stoke Common Road.
