Volunteering with Burnham Beeches and Stoke Common is a great way to connect with this special place, meet new people and make a difference.

Volunteers support our important work in many ways from scrub clearance to fencing, helping with livestock, office work, providing important information at events or getting involved with survey work.

By becoming a volunteer you get a unique chance to be the eyes and ears for the site, get involved with the great outdoors, develop skills and learn about the environment.

Friends of Stoke Common

Friends of Stoke Common is an independent community group that encourages and enables people to become involved in the management of the Common. They aim to raise awareness of the importance of the lowland heath habitat, help to care for and protect its biodiversity and to continue to make it a haven for wildlife.
