Hampstead Heath is a lasting remnant of London’s former countryside. It provides opportunities for quiet enjoyment and appreciation of the natural world. Its vast size makes it a unique, quiet, habitat rich space close to the centre of London.

The Heath also has a wide range of leisure facilities including an athletics track, tennis courts, a 60 m Lido, three natural bathing ponds, football and rugby pitches and a bowling green.

For young people there are seven play areas, a paddling pool and lots of amazing wild play opportunities.
