Play tennis at West Ham Park

West Ham Park has 12 tennis courts, all carefully maintained by a dedicated team - making West Ham Park one of the most popular tennis facilities in east London.

Whether you’re just starting out, have been competing for years or looking to try something different, there's a type of tennis to suit everyone.

Opening times

Every day: 8am until 30 minutes before dusk.

Fees from 1 April 2024

£7.40 per court per hour.

Annual membership

Play more tennis for just £34.70 per year 

The pass gives great value for money and allows a one hour booking up to three times per week. 

Annual family membership

Tennis membership allows you and your family members to:

• a family of up to 4 members can play for free for up to four, one hour bookings per week)
• enjoy our tennis coaching offers and discounts for active members

Tennis rackets are available to hire

Contact the park office 48 hours in advance of play - you will need to pay a £10 deposit and show photo ID.

Please note: we are unable to accept any payment on the courts.

Coaching

TenniscomeTrue coaches deliver fun and dynamic tennis sessions focusing on the personal, social and sportive progress. Finding the natural technique for every player, coaching for all ages and abilities is available and can be arranged with our professional tennis coaches. Full details are available on Clubspark.

Local Tennis League 

If you would you like to play more singles or are looking for new people to play, the West Ham Park and Newham Tennis League is a great way to play friendly, competitive tennis against other players in your area.

Players are organised into groups of a similar level and arrange their own matches at a mutually convenient time over an 8 week ‘round’.
