The site of the current Hall has been the home of the Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers since 1346.

The previous building although survived the Great Fire in 1666, in 1795, the Hall was enlarged, and then it was decided in 1839 to rebuild it completely. The lantern, or dome, of the Livery Hall was added in 1872.

The Livery Hall boasts a Gothic barrel-vaulted ceiling with stained-glass windows and hanging brass candelabra.

Armourers’ Hall offers a versatile suite of rooms. The Livery Hall, Gold Drawing Room, Court Room and Library are able to cater for major seminars, formal dinners, large receptions, meetings and convivial lunches.
