Adoption
We welcome enquiries from people who are looking to care for a child or young person on a permanent basis.
Anyone who is over the age of 21, is a UK resident and holds no criminal convictions against children can adopt.
The City of London Corporation has commissioned Coram Adoption Agency to manage and deliver an adoption service for residents of the City of London.
Coram social workers are available every day between 9am and 5pm (except Wednesday mornings).
They can also post or email you adoption information packs.
As you begin to decide if being an adoptive parent is right for you, you will want to find out as much information as possible about the adoption process.
Coram holds adoption information meetings once a month in their Bloomsbury office, during which you can hear from social workers and other adoptive parents about adopting through Coram.
