Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care Level 2
This qualification will help you to develop a basic knowledge of the adult social care sector. To gain this qualification, you need to achieve 6 credits from the mandatory units.
- Introduction to the adult social care sector
- Introduction to the values and principles of adult social care
- Awareness of the skills and attitudes needed to work in adult social care
- Awareness of communication in adult social care
- Awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the adult social care worker

Eligibility
To be eligible for funding on our free courses you should be a UK national or an EEA national with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme and have been resident in the UK/EEA for the past three years. Proof may be required, more information about this is on the enrolment form.
