Continue improving your intermediate Spanish with this conversational course, taught in Spanish with an emphasis on speaking and listening. This course will also give you an insight into cultural aspects of Spanish speaking countries. Learn to talk about important events in your life, current affairs and recent historic events, films and the arts. You will be able to participate in discussions and give your opinions.

Improve your fluency and comprehension in Spanish through discussion on a wide variety of topics and extend your vocabulary and broaden your knowledge of Spanish and Latin American cultures.

British Sign Language Level 1
This qualification is designed to teach learners to communicate with Deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use. They will gain basic skills and confidence in production and reception of BSL. The specification has been designed using the UK Occupational Language Standards 2010 at Level 1.
Qualification Objectives:
At the end of the qualification, learners will be able to:
- Understand and use a limited range of simple words and sentences in BSL
- Take part in simple, everyday conversations in BSL
- Give and follow simple directions or instructions in BSL
- Give and follow simple familiar statements or descriptions in BSL.

To be eligible for funding on our free courses you should be a UK national or an EEA national with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme and have been resident in the UK/EEA for the past three years. To be eligible for concessionary rates, you need to meet the aforementioned criteria and be 60 years of age or over, or be in receipt of Universal Credit Proof may be required, more information about this is on the enrolment form.
